Our Commitments
Small choices that add up — from sourcing to your doorstep.
Seasonal & Local Sourcing
We prioritise seasonal blooms and source locally where possible — sustainable choices that reduce air miles and support British growers.
Eco-Friendly Packaging
Our wrapping is recyclable or compostable. We avoid single-use plastics and use kraft paper, tissue, and natural twine.
Minimal Waste
We order to demand, not in bulk. Bespoke production means less waste — every stem has a purpose.
Local Delivery
We deliver within Leeds to keep our carbon footprint small. No long-distance shipping for fresh flowers.
Long-Lasting Alternatives
Our preserved flowers and hand-crocheted arrangements last for years — beautiful without the repeat environmental cost.
Made with Intention
Every arrangement is made to order. No mass production, no shelf stock, no unnecessary resource use.

Why It Matters
The global flower industry relies heavily on air freight, plastic packaging, and chemical treatments. Over 80% of cut flowers sold in the UK are imported — often flown thousands of miles before reaching a vase.
As a small, independent Leeds florist, we have the freedom to make better choices. We won't pretend to be perfect — but we're committed to doing better with every arrangement we create, from the growers we support to the materials we wrap with.
Choosing local, seasonal, and long-lasting is one of the simplest ways to enjoy flowers responsibly.
How You Can Help
Sustainability isn't just on us — here are three simple ways you can make a difference too.
Choose seasonal
Seasonal flowers are fresher, longer-lasting, and have a lower carbon footprint than imported blooms.
Consider alternatives
Preserved or crocheted arrangements last years — perfect for gifts that keep giving without the waste.
Reuse & recycle
Compost spent flowers, reuse vases, and recycle our packaging. Every small step counts.
What Sustainable Floristry Looks Like Day to Day
Sustainability in a flower studio isn't one grand gesture — it's dozens of small, unglamorous decisions. Because everything we make is to order, we buy stems for the bouquets we've actually promised, not buckets of stock hoping someone walks past. What you order is what we buy; almost nothing is wasted. Seasonal choices do the quiet heavy lifting too: a flower in its natural season simply needs less — less forcing, less freight, less refrigeration — and it lasts longer in the vase as a bonus.
Our longest-lasting answer to flower waste is, honestly, our keepsake work. A crochet bouquet or preserved arrangement is one gift, made once, enjoyed for years — the most sustainable flowers are the ones nobody throws away. And when fresh is right (often it is), eco-friendly wrapping, recyclable packaging and a local-only delivery radius keep the footprint where it belongs: small.
